Pedigree:  Breeder hereby agrees and guarantees that this puppy is a purebred specimen of the Australian Shepherd breed and of said parentage as listed on registration papers.

Health Guarantee:  Buyer agrees to have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 1 week of purchase.  If, at that time, puppy does not pass inspection, puppy may be returned to breeder at buyer's expense for a full refund.  Written explanation from licensed veterinarian must be received by breeder before puppy is returned.  All action taken to return puppy shall be done with the best interest of the puppy in mind, including temperature at time of shipping, etc.

Hip Dysplasia:  Breeder guarantees this dog to be free from the canine disease of hip dysplasia, with an OFA rating of Fair or above.  If this dog, upon reaching the attained age of 2 years, is found to be dysplastic by use of a radiograph done by a qualified veterinarian competent in the diagnosis of dysplasia, the breeder agrees to replace this dog with another dog of equal or greater value and pedigree, in exchange for this dog's registration papers and certification from a qualified veterinarian that this dog has been spayed or neutered.  Breeder has right to view the radiographs and, if necessary (due to poor quality radiographs or poor positioning of the hips), has right to ask for another radiograph to be taken by another vet, on a different x-ray machine before replacing this dog.  If this dog is bred without having it's hips checked, this entire contract is null and void.

Eye Defects:  Breeder guarantees this dog to be free from genetic eye defects.  If this dog, before the age of 6 years of age, is found to have a genetic eye defect by a certified ophthalmologist that would not allow the dog to pass CERF requirements, the breeder agrees to replace this dog with a dog of equal quality.  Breeder must receive proof that this dog is spayed or neutered before replacing it with another dog.  If this dog is bred before it's eyes are certified or before it's 2 years old, this contract and guarantee will be null and void.

Buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this puppy.  Buyer will not sell this puppy or any of it's offspring to any agent, broker or pet shop.  Nor will this puppy or any of it’s offspring be registered under any registry as “Miniature Australian Shepherd” or any breed other than Australian Shepherd. If buyer breaks this contract, breeder will have the right to repossess the dog and the buyer will be fined $1000.00 by the breeder.

Buyer agrees to register this puppy with both AKC and ASCA within 6 months after purchase & report the registration numbers to Breeder for records.

Buyer agrees that if it becomes necessary to sell or otherwise dispose of this dog, at any time, seller will be notified and offered first right to buy back this dog at a price agreed upon by both parties.
